About

Charities

True to our brand and our love of the coast we have chosen to support marine conservation and the great work these charities do.

Sussex Dolphin Project is one of these charities and is local to us on the south coast. Check out their website and sea tours and learn more about these amazing mammals.

The Seahorse Trust is a worldwide authority on these beautiful little horses of the sea. Harbour Hounds has adopted ‘Chowilawu’, a Spiny Seahorse. You could adopt one too, just visit their website to see how.

We also partner with CAM4animals, who promote the integration of complementary and alternative medicine with conventional veterinary care. Just like our EM®Tick-Off Necklaces. They have loads of great advice, so check them out.

  • Complementary medicine for dogs

    CAM4Animals

We all want to take good care of our pet’s health and here at Harbour Hounds, we love CAM4animals, Complementary and Alternative Medicine. It’s a wonderful resource and alternative to veterinary medicine treating animals, with a holistic approach, in the same way our EM® Tick-Off Necklace does.

CAM4animals is a 100% volunteer-run, consumer-driven organisation promoting Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) and integrated veterinary care in the UK. It is a resource for animal owners, vets, and practitioners alike.

  • The Seahorse Trust Charity

    The Seahorse Trust

The team at Harbour Hounds is delighted to partner with the marine conservation charity The Seahorse Trust. This small, dedicated, and world-leading charity for Seahorses and the natural world, supports the conservation of these beautiful little horses of the sea, all around the world, not just the UK.

We have designed an exclusive Harbour Hounds EM® Tick-Off Necklace to add to our range of products. For every sale of our new limited edition Seahorse EM® Tick-off Necklace, we donate 10% of the sales to The Seahorse Trust.

Our Salcome Seahorse eco-friendly dog toy donates £1 from each sale.

  • Sussex Dolphin Project Charity

    Sussex Dolphin Project

Who doesn’t love dolphins? In 2022 we started supporting this amazing local project to protect one of our favourite mammals.

We have designed an exclusive Harbour Hounds EM® Tick-Off Necklace to add to our range of products. For every sale of our new limited edition Sussex Dolphin EM® Tick-off Necklace, we donate 10% of the sales to Sussex Dolphin Project.

Sussex Dolphin Project is committed to protecting local dolphin species through research, awareness and education.

The project was launched in 2018, as part of the World Cetacean Alliance (WCA), the world’s largest marine conservation partnership, which champions the protection of marine habitats through community engagement.
